OKEECHOBEE — Hendry County Bassmasters Fishing Club team fished on Lake Okeechobee launching from the Scott Driver Boat Ramp in Okeechobee on Dec. 4 and 5.
Jr. Anglers Trevor Allen and Brody Allen punched their ticket to the 2021/2022 State Championship to take place in June 2022.
Day 1 high school anglers results:
• Boone Stewart and Clayton Griffith placed 15th with 14.77 pounds;
• Kane Weekley and Trent Handley placed 30th with 12.67 pounds;
• Harley Collins and Brooke Collins placed 31st with 12.53 pounds;
• Tucker Handley and Clayton Satori placed 39th with 11.49 pounds;
• Conner Swindle and Max Loften placed 41st with 10.70 pounds;
• Hunter Turner and Felix Flores placed 46th with 9.71 pounds; and
• Aydin Holt and Climmie Davis placed 80th with 3.15 pounds.
Day 1 junior anglers results:
• Trevor Allen and Brody Allen placed sixth with 9.93 pounds.
• Cormac Duffy and Case Hammock placed 18th with 4.69 pounds.
• Bryson Stewart and Colton Griffith placed 18th with 4.69 pounds.
• Kolten Kettner and Kacyn Vaughan placed 21st with 3.50 pounds.
• Baron Busin and Hendrix Kurtz placed 24th with 2.47 pounds.
Day 2 high school anglers results:
• Conner Swindle and Max Loften with 14.36 pounds.
• Kane Weekley and Trent Handley with 12.67 pounds.
• Logan Crumb and Justin Sherrod with 12.78 pounds.
Day 2 junior anglers results:
• Trevor Allen and Brody Allen with 7.30 pounds
• Bryson Stewart and Colton Griffith with 3.02 pounds.
The Hendry County Bassmasters will fish at the St. Johns River in St. Augustine on Trout Creek Jan. 8 and 9, 2022.
