BELLE GLADE — This year marks the 46th year of the jubilee and it promises to be eventful! From its beginning in 1978, the Black Gold Jubilee has grown to be the best attended festival in the area, it draws several thousand residents and visitors from across South Florida!
Scheduled each April, the Jubilee’s celebration focus is on its namesake “Black Gold,” a name given to the rich soil for its ability to produce bountiful harvests year after year.
This year the Jubilee is scheduled on April 13 and will be preceded by multiple events including the Children’s Fishing Contest, Night Time Golfing Tournament and Night Time Golf!
This year the Jubilee will have a special act adventure family circus! They will be a hit with the kids and adults. Check out a video about them here.
Children’s Fishing Tournament
Scheduled on Saturday, April 6, this event is a great way to spend time with the kids! Children ages 1-15 participate in this fishing contest with prizes awarded in each age division. Click on the link below for more information and the application.

Black Gold Night Golf Tournament!
Guaranteed to be a “hole” lot of fun! Gather a four person team for a Nine Hole Scramble - $50 per person. Dinner at 6:30pm and Tee Time is at 7:30pm. Register Now! Call 561-914-6435
We have expanded the Friday night concert! This year we have added vendors, food, and a Buggy/Side by Side show! On the morning of the Jubilee, festivities start with a 5K/10K Run, at 10am the Main Street Parade will take place, also at 10am gates will open for a day of fun, food, and entertainment. The day is completed with the grand finale - a spectacular fireworks display over the lake!

The original, premier Jimmy Buffett tribute band! After playing with the Landsharks Band in Key West, Jimmy Buttett hired them to be the house band at Margaritaville! Come enjoy this high energy, non-stop show!
