LABELLE — GFWC LaBelle Community Woman’s Club is collecting stamps, new and used. By saving canceled stamps from your mail, you will support us through your contribution to the Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry With the Poor Fund. The sisters sort them and sell them to brokers and collectors. The proceeds help those in need around the world.
Save stamps that have their perforations intact, are not too heavily canceled, and are not torn, cut or stained. Leave at least 1/4 inch on each side of the stamp when cutting it from the envelope. Stamps can be dropped off at the clubhouse located on 382 W Hickpochee Ave., next to Ace Hardware. Place into slot in the door. Please no U.S. Flags, Liberty Bell or non profit stamps.
