PALM BEACH COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) in Belle Glade or South Bay.

• Freddy Castaneda, was arrested June 27 by PBSO and charged with battery - commit domestic battery strangulation. Bond has not been set.

• Frankie Day, was arrested June 29 by PBSO and charged with resisting officer with violence, failure to appear, and three counts of comtempt of court. Bond was set at $50,000.

• Alexander Ramirez, was arrested June 29 by PBSO and charged with possession of weapon - custody firearm ammo violation risk protection order; carrying concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm; and weapon offense - improper exhibit firearm or dangerous weapon. Bond was set at $58,000.

• Santonia Cobia, was arrested July 2 by PBSO and charged with grand theft, flee/elude police, resisting officer - obstruct without violence, and failure to appear. Bond was set at $8,000.

• Derial Nelson, was arrested July 2 by PBSO and charged with aggravated battery - offender knew/should have known victim pregnant. Bond has not been set.
