PALM BEACH COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) in Belle Glade or South Bay.

• Latonya Canty was arrested Aug. 2 by PBSO and charged with obstructing justice - tamper with evidence in criminal proceeding, and homicide - murder dangerous depraved without premeditation. Bond has not been set.

• Cameron Newkirk was arrested Aug. 3 by PBSO and charged with intimidation - written/electronic threat to kill or bodily harm another, burglary - occupied dwelling unarmed, and aggravated stalking. Bond has not been set.

• Kortavious Thomas was arrested Aug. 5 by PBSO and charged with three counts of fraud-impersonate - use ID of another without consent of $5,000 or more, three counts of fraud - utter false instrument, fraud-swindle - obtain property under $20,000, and failure to appear. Bond has been set at 29,000.

• Sharica Tabois was arrested by PBSO and charged with fraud - illegal use of credit cards - use more than 2 times in 6 months, fraud-impersonate. Bond has not been set.
