863 Riders are planning a bike show for Aug. 6 and 7.
OKEECHOBEE — The 863 Riders and the VFW North are planning an inaugural bike show to be held on August 6 and 7 at the VFW North.

 During the show, the group will be raffling off a 2003 Honda VTX 1800 R motorcycle, with proceeds to go to the VFW. Raffle tickets will cost $20.

The show will be Saturday August 6 from 2-10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

All bikes are welcome to participate, both two and three wheels, cruiser or street. The entry fee is $20. No charge for spectators.

The categories will be:

  • Best custom bike,
  • Best stereo system,
  • Best modified,
  • Best sounding exhaust system,
  • Best burnout and
  • Best overall.
    During the inaugural annual bike show, a motorcycle will be raffled off.

There will be a first-place prize for each category, and a 50/50 drawing will take place.

Food and drinks are not provided but can be purchased from the VFW.

RV camping and tent sites will be provided for free.
