OKEECHOBEE — The 4th graders from Central Elementary visited Cattlemen's Square as part of their unit on the book Land Remembered by Patrick Smith. Hosted by the Okeechobee Historical Society, the students listened to presentations by Brad Phares and Dowling Watford about the history of cattle and Florida cowboys.
