CSX Transportation has scheduled railroad closures at the following locations within Okeechobee County for track maintenance projects:

• NE 13th Ave - SX 909.7 - Closing on/around Jan. 15, 2024;

• NE 14th Ave - SX 909.75 - Closing on/around Jan. 15, 2024;

• NE 16th Ave - SX 909.88 - Closing on/around Jan. 15, 2024;

• NE 2nd St / Hamrick Rd - SX 910.27 - Closing on/around Jan. 15, 2024;

• SE 32nd Ave - SX 911.28 - Closing on/around Jan. 16, 2024,

• SE 40th Ave - SX 911.81- Closing on/around Jan. 16, 2024,

•  SW FL Water Management Private Crossing - SX 911.84 - Closing on/around Jan. 16, 2024,

• SW FL Water Management Private Crossing - SX 911.95 - Closing on/around Jan. 16, 2024,

• SE 59th Blvd - SX 913.33 - Division: To be worked at a later date in 2024,

• Cogen Pump House Private Crossing - SX 914.53 - Closing on/around Jan. 17, 2024,

• SE 86th Blvd - SX 916.23 - Closing on/around Jan. 22, 2024,

• SE 126th Blvd – SX919.91 – Closing on/around Jan. 25, 2024.

Closures  will begin at several project locations in Okeechobee as outlined with different closure dates. The first project closing date is on or around  Jan. 15

No traffic will be allowed to cross the tracks until the
work is completed in these areas.

Dates are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen conditions once the work begins. Please avoid the closure areas if at all possible.
