OKEECHOBEE — The American Legion, 501 SE Second Street, will host the Deandre Futch Quarters for a Cause on Tuesday, May 2 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Deandre will be having surgery on his right arm in May to help him gain function to his right hand and wrist. He lost movement to the right side of his body at 3-years-old after his first brain surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. He has since been in physical and occupational therapy to help gain muscle strength to the right side of his body.
Wear red to be entered into the Special Raffle provided by Suzanne’s Homemade Jellies and Jams.
