OKEECHOBEE- The Education Foundation of Okeechobee proudly announces that Executive Director, Alaina Barron, has been chosen for Leadership Florida Education Class 8. Alaina, who brings over a decade of teaching experience and a Masters in Elementary Education, has led the Foundation for a little over a year. During this time, she has driven transformative change within the organization. Alaina has streamlined existing programs, launched a college and career initiative that propels students towards successful post-secondary experiences, and increased the Foundation's annual revenue by over $100,000.
