OKEECHOBEE — A dream came true for Lillian “Lilly” Mobley, an 11-year-old ballerina from Okeechobee, who auditioned and was accepted into the prestigious Joffrey Ballet’s summer program.

Lilly’s ballet journey began at six years of age, she was instantly captivated by the beauty and elegance of ballet and displayed remarkable talent. Realizing her potential, her former instructor, encouraged her to pursue her dreams and recommended she compete at Universal Ballet Competition. Lilly has competed there for the past three years. This year she had the opportunity to audition with Joffrey Ballet. Lilly was overjoyed when she was notified that she was accepted. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in New York City and is making plans to return to Joffrey next summer.
