Sexual assault survivors' workshop planned

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — A free workshop for survivors of sexual assault will be held on Saturday, May 13, at the Okeechobee County Public Libarary, 206 SW 16th St., from 11 a.m. to noon.

Each participant will paint a self-affirmation stone to carry with them throughout their survivor journey. Self-affirmations are recognized as a tool that individuals use to remind themselves of the importance of self-love and the strength they possess every single day. The healing journey is endless and recognized as an ongoing process. The stones act as a reminder that you are not alone.
