Graduating seniors receive laptops

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — The Grad Nite committee was happy to provide the graduating seniors of the Class of 2021 with a small monetary gift in lieu of being able to host the typical Grad Nite party in this atypical year. Many generous donors allowed us to give $7,300 in total to the seniors and provide laptops, funded by Children’s Services Council, to several deserving students. Students receiving laptops were Kasey McGuire, Lauren Sills, Mercedes White, Katie Kerley, Lonna McClenthian and Gia Immerfall who excelled in performing community service which is the core tenant of Our Village Okeechobee with who Grad Nite operates as a subcommittee.
