OKEECHOBEE — The Healthy Start Coalition of Okeechobee County would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Okeechobee Fire Rescue team for their generous donation of proceeds from the license tag program. Local donations such as this are crucial to our non-profit organization, as the majority of our funds have unfortunate restrictions from state funding sources. Thanks to the generosity of the Okeechobee Fire Rescue team, we will be able to provide much-needed assistance and items to local families.

The mission of the Healthy Start Coalition is to promote healthy pregnancies, babies, and families by providing free education, support and access to resources in Okeechobee County. With donations such as this, we are able to continue our vital work to help families thrive. The Okeechobee Fire Rescue team has shown their commitment to our community in a very tangible way, and we hope that their generosity inspires others to support our organization as well. Once again, on behalf of the Healthy Start Coalition of Okeechobee County, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the Okeechobee Fire Rescue team for their support and generosity.
