PORT ST. LUCIE — One hundred thirty adults and children participated in the Third Annual Pioneer 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Indian River State College Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie. The annual race, organized by the IRSC Foundation, raises money for student scholarships.
“I am thrilled to announce that this year more than $5,000 was raised for student scholarships,” stated John Crowe, alumni development coordinator. “We are grateful to our sponsors and to the community at large for its support of IRSC and its students!”
The official course operations and timing were conducted by Mike Melton from MCM Timing & Results LLC.
