Local arrested on child porn charges

OKEECHOBEE — On Wednesday December 13th, Detective A.Rojas and Detective N.Wenrick obtained probable cause for the arrest of Joseph Sallette for ten counts of FSS 827.071(5)(A)- possession of child pornography.

Sallette provided a cellphone to anonymous citizen (will not be named) who later discovered the material and immediately notifying law enforcement.
 
Search warrants were obtained to do a forensic download of the cellphone which revealed a copious amount of child pornography.
 
Sallette was placed under arrest on December 14th. Shortly after the arrest, another cellphone was located belonging to Sallette. This cellphone yielded even more material.
 
Sallette was given a $500,000 dollar bond.
