OKEECHOBEE — An Okeechobee County Fire Rescue crew was presented with the prestigious Stork Award last week.
Last week the crew of LT Gwilt, DE Hendon, FF/PMD R. Smith, and FF/EMT Piloto were recognized for the delivery of a baby boy on the side of a highway in the very early hours of the morning. Each crew member was presented a certificate recognizing their service and a blue stork pin for their uniform shirts.
