OKEECHOBEE — Recently, the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office held the annual ceremony recognizing employees who have been chosen as an exemplary examples of excellence in their field, along with recognizing and pinning newly sworn deputies and many other accomplishments within our office.

Shirley Till Nasralli chosen as Law Enforcement Support Staff Employee of the Year. Shirley was nominated by her peers for employee of the first quarter for her dedication to helping others outside of her own department and duties. She was instrumental when needed for her quick thinking and ability to perform within deadlines. Shirley was also recognized by her Command Staff for stepping up to a challenge that was tedious and time consuming, working hard, being a team member, never complaining, getting the job done while also taking care of the responsibilities of her own position.
