OKEECHOBEE — The Florida Sheriffs Association Criminal Apprehension Assistance Program has pledged $5,000 in available reward funds for those who give helpful information that leads to an arrest/prosecution of a subject involved in the shooting death investigation mentioned below.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, August 27, 2023, Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to Scott Driver Park (10209

US Highway 78 West, Okeechobee, FL) about shooting during a Quinceañera.

Through continuous investigations, we have developed helpful information regarding the incident and who was involved.

Multiple gunshot wound victims were treated by Emergency Medical Services, resulting in one of the victims subsequently succumbing to their wounds at HCA Raulerson Hospital.

On September 8, 2023, Sabastian Urbano (17) was arrested on an Okeechobee County Warrant for Second Degree Murder with a Firearm, for which he is charged as an adult.

His bond is $750,000, and he is still awaiting arraignment in the Okeechobee County Jail.

The incident is still an ongoing investigation, and the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone with pictures, video, or information about the shooting to contact us.

If you have any information, don't hesitate to contact Detective Brady Rogers 863-763-3117 Ext. 5111
