Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

  • Ernesto Sanchez, 28, Northwest Eighth Avenue, was arrested April 30 by OCSO Deputy Robert Murtagh and charged with possession of marijuana over 20 grams, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. Bond was set at $82,000.
  • Jack Jernigan, 43, Southeast 60th Drive, was arrested May 1 by OCSO Deputy Joseph Coonfare and charged with driving without a license/habitual offender. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Charles Hullett, 51, Northwest 80th Drive, was arrested on May 1 by OCSO Deputy SK Crawford and charged with battery by strangulation. Bond was set at $25,000.
  • Glenda Hulbert, 74, Southeast 10th Avenue, was arrested on May 2 by OCPD Officer Ted Van Deman and charged with resisting an officer with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer. Bond was set at $3,000.
  • Jeremy Jones, 37, Southwest 13th Street, was arrested on May 3 by OCSO Deputy Dylan Abdelquader and charged with intent to commit a felony. Bond was set at $100,000.
  • Dajah Walker, 21, West Palm Beach, was arrested May 3 by OCSo Deputy Karson Reno and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $12,000.
  • Martina Herrera, 25, Lake Placid, was arrested May 5 by OCPD Officer Ryan Holroyd and charged with driving without a license/habitual offender. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Johnquia Posey, 37, Belle Glade, was arrested May 4 by OCSO Deputy Vincent PeterPaul and charged with trafficking in fentanyl, possession of oxycodone and introducing contraband into a detention facility. Bond was set at $120,000.
  • Addison West, 33, Northwest 50th Avenue, was arrested May 4 by OCPD Officer Alexis Bieger and charged with resisting an officer with violence and two counts battery on a law enforcement officer. Bond was set at $35,000.
  • Michael Hedges, 42, Southeast 25th Street, was arrested May at the Evergreen Cemetery as he visited with his family, many of whom are reportedly law enforcement officers, after the funeral of his grandfather. According to the arrest report, Hedges and his brother became upset due to the deputies making the arrest at the cemetery and asked if he could turn himself in the following day. When they were told he could not turn himself in and had to go with them, Hedges allegedly threatened one of the deputies and was charged with intimidation of law enforcement. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Jeremy Jones, 37, Southwest 13th Street, was arrested May 2 by ONTF and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of dextroamphetamine. Bone was set at 10,000.
  • Victoria Courson, 20, Southwest 13th Street, was arrested May 2 by ONTF and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of hydromorphone. Bond was set at $10,000.
  • Pablo Gomez, 44, Northeast 11th Lane, was arrested May 2 by OCSO Deputy Jennifer Fairtrace and charged with DUI and hindering communication with law enforcement. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Timothy Wagner was arrested May 6 and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, driving without a license, possession of cannabis/less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Mark Jolliff was arrested May 6 and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
