Okeechobee County Fair kicks off March 14

OKEECHOBEE- The Okeechobee County Fair opens March 14 at the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center, 4601 State Road 710, with midway rides, the youth livestock show, an exotic petting zoo, cooking and crafts competitions, a demolition derby and more.

The fair runs from March 14-19. Experience 6 days of fun including a full carnival midway, delicious fair food, and exciting entertainment. Watch the amazing Johnny Rocket's Cycle Circus Live, or visit The Petting Zoo with Parakeet Encounter.  On March 18 the Demolition Derby will take place in the grandstand for an additional $10.

Fairgrounds open at 5 p.m.  Tuesday-Friday and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. General admission to the fair is $5 per person, per day. Children under age 5 will be admitted free. Tuesday, March 14 is $1 admission day. Wednesday, March 15 is Canned Food Day. Bring a donation of three or more cans of food and receive up to $3 off fair admission. On Sunday, March 19, fair admission is $2.
