• The 56th annual Speckled Perch Festival and Parade will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parade will be begin Saturday, March 13 at 10 a.m. Vendor and parade applications can be picked up at the Okeechobee Main Street Office, 111 N.E. Second St. or visit www.okeechobeemainstreet.org. For information, call 863-357-6246.

• Donations for the Cattle Drive Sculpture Project are still being accepted. To donate,  visit the OKMS website for more information.
