OKEECHOBEE — Peace Lutheran Church welcomes a new vicar. Deon Hull and his wife Debra, moved to Okeechobee in June. Deon is in his fourth year of Seminary studies, a year of practical experience. He will graduate in May 2024 from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and then be ordained. He intends to stay at Peace after ordination.

He and Debra have three grown sons, Peter (30) lives in Tulsa and manages a restaurant. William, 27, is in the Army at Ft. Riley, KS. Steven, 24, serves in the Air Force in Dover, DE. Before relocating to St. Louis for school, Deon and Debra were residents of Tulsa, Okla. However they had lived in Lakeland and Clermont for about 15 years. They are excited to be back in central Florida, and in Okeechobee in particular.
