OKEECHOBEE -- Glades Electric reports 33 residences in Okeechobee County have lost power due to Hurricane Ian winds. FPL reports 40 residents out of power in Okeechobee County.
As of 7:50 p.m., Okeechobee County was experiencing sustained of 40 mph and gusts up to 52 mph.
The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office has reported the power is out at the light at SR-710 and 70 East. Please treat all intersections that have lights disabled or down as a four-way stop intersection.
