OKEECHOBEE — The American Legion, 501 SE Second St., will host a Quarters for a Cause benefit for Jose Jimenez on Tuesday, June 20. The doors open at 6 p.m. and quarters auction starts at 7 p.m. Events include 50/50 raffle, Chinese raffles, vendors, food and drinks. Wear blue to entered into the Special Raffle provided by Kim from Thirty-One Bags.
Jose fell off of a harvesting piece of equipment and as a result he had a knee replacement and surgery on his leg that was injured. He as incurred excessive travel and medical expenses.
