Reading event include puppies

OKEECHOBEE — Okeechobee County Library and Okeechobee Animal Control Service teamed up for the "Pups in the Park Storytime" reading event on Thursday, Aug. 4. Local children were invited to come to the park to hear a story and play with puppies from the shelter.  The children were also given craft kits to take home. The puppies at the event were available for adoption.
