Sheriff takes part in panel discussion

WEST PALM BEACH — Sheriff Noel E. Stephen was asked to join a West Palm Beach panel hosted by Senator Rick Scott. Senator Scott requested that Sheriff Stephen be there for the Sheriff's insight and perspective as a rural Sheriff in Florida.

The intimate panel discussed items such as Keeping Schools Safe, Fighting Human Trafficking, addressing the continuing the battle on Fentynal, and several other serious topics affecting all of us, one way or another, in the Sunshine State.

The interaction was an excellent opportunity for our Sheriff to share with the Senator and the entire panel the difficulties of "sheriffing" a rural county and how he combats the subjects the board was targeting yesterday for discussion.
