Sponsors sought for Halloween Extravaganza

OKEECHOBEE -- Interested in sponsoring or having a booth for the upcoming Okeechobee Halloween Extravaganza?

Halloween is right around the corner, and what would Halloween be without some fun trick-or-treating!? The Okeechobee Halloween Extravaganza on Halloween night provides a safe environment for kids to be kids and for businesses to get together with the community.

“We had so much fun last year, we are working on making it even bigger this year,” says Jessica Grassi of Philip DeBerard, Injury Attorney.

When the previous organization dissolved and the Halloween Extravaganza was up in the air, Philip DeBerard, Injury Attorney teamed up with the Rotary Club of Okeechobee to keep the tradition alive. This year, they’ve added another group to their crew: Healthy Start Coalition of Okeechobee! This year, all funds raised after cost will be donated to Healthy Start and their mission to help our community.

Last year brought in nearly 2,000 people for the two hours it took place. This year, we’ve added an hour and are looking for local businesses and groups to make it better than ever. There are several ways to get involved: Sponsorships with multiple levels will help offset the costs and provide additional funds for Healthy Start, booth spots where you can hand out candy to the children trick-or-treating, or donating funds and/or candy to be distributed. If you’re interested in signing up or would like to get more information, email Jessica Grassi at Jessica@FlaInjuryLawyer.com

The Okeechobee Halloween Extravaganza will take place at the Agri-Civic Center on Tuesday, October 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is completely free and fun for all ages. Costumes are encouraged and treats will be a-plenty.
