GLADES COUNTY – The Fisheating Creek Chapter of the Florida Trail Association will host a Sunrise Stroll on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7 a.m. on the Fort Center Trail of the Fisheating Creek Wildlife Management Area. This will be a leisurely walk on the historic Fort Center Trail through open pasture to an oak hammock that ends at creek-side, a 5-mile trip. View interpretive panels along the trail that commemorate the rich history of the Belle Glade Culture at this former archaeological evacuation site. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring water. The trailhead is 1937 Banana Grove Road, Moore Haven. For information, call or text Kate Adams at 865-617-2100.
