OKEECHOBEE — The Republican Party and the Republican Club proudly gave out two scholarships this year and wish the recipients, Holt Jones and Rhionnnan Dyer the best in their future endeavors.
The Republican Club of Lake Okeechobee will be at the Big O Flea Market on Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and May 29 for voters who want to register to vote in the upcoming primary elections. They will sell 50/50 tickets for their scholarship fund. The drawing will take place at their monthly meeting at Lakeside Grill at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14. The Meet and Greet for Precinct 8 will be held on Sunday, June 12 from 1 to 3 p.m.
