OKEECHOBEE- A new music festival is coming to the Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee on New Year’s Eve.
Insomniac, the promoter behind the Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival, is expanding their annual extraterrestrial themed Countdown New Year’s Eve music festival to the east coast this year. In a press release on Sept. 15 the company announced Countdown Campout event in Okeechobee, which they say “will fuse the iconic champagne toasts and confetti showers of any New Year’s Eve extravaganza with the alien-themed galaxy experience Countdown has become globally recognized for."
Insomniac has previously hosted a Countdown NYE on the west coast in the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino. Unique for the Florida Countdown NYE event though will be the opportunity for festival goes to sleep under the stars in what Insomniac is calling an out-of-this-world camping experience.
Fans are encouraged to sign up here to be the first to learn more about Countdown NYE and Countdown Campout. Those who sign up will also have the opportunity to win a preferential probe package and an earthly upgrade that is sure to make their festival experience out of this world.
