OKEECHOBEE -- Okeechobee Main Street seeks vendors for the annual Christmas Festival, planned for Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The lighted holiday parade will begin at 6 p.m.
The festival will include a variety of food, gift ideas, arts and crafts, kids activities, music and fun.
The tradition of this parade has been going strong since 1989.
This year, the festival will include a Kids' Market. Young entrepreneurs can sell their crafts, food and other items. Only 25 spots will be available. Signups are on a "first come" basis. This is for children only. Application forms can be picked up at the Main Street Office, 111 N.E. Second Street.
