Special to Lake Okeechobee News
Congratulations to Okeechobee County Public Safety Director/Fire Chief, Earl Wooten, on his Nov. 3, 2023 graduation and completion of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program.
The Executive Fire Officer Program is a multi-year, graduate-level educational program held at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. It is the pinnacle of the U.S. Fire Administration's commitment to support the needs of fire and emergency medical services agencies in preparing executive officers to meet the ever-changing demands of the dynamic communities in which they serve.
