TAMPA — Lykes Bros. Inc. CEO Johnnie James Jr. is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Wilson to the position of Vice President of Land Assets and Strategic Planning. Wilson is a proven professional with over 20 years of experience in real estate asset management, strategic planning, and business operations.

James said of Lykes’ new hire, “Joseph brings a tremendous amount of real estate and business operations knowledge, experience, and expertise to our leadership team. We could not be more pleased to have him join us and provide his acumen, energy, and perspective to our efforts to position Lykes’ assets for long-term future success.”

Lykes Bros. Inc. was founded by Dr. Howell Tyson Lykes and his seven sons in 1900. Lykes is a fifth-generation family business which owns 614,211 acres in Florida and Texas, including one of the largest contiguous landholdings in Florida. The property is home to a diversity of agricultural uses including citrus, forestry, recreational hunting, and cattle operations. Lykes is a progressive leader in agriculture and a frequent partner with the government on conservation, wildlife, and water resource management.
