CLEWISTON, –All Aboard! The Santa Express is preparing to roll into town Thursday, Dec. 7. Santa and his helpers will deliver toys for families across Glades, Highlands, Hendry, Palm Beach, and Martin counties.

Santa will arrive  on the Sugar Express, powered by historic steam engine No. 148. Santa  will make stops at Belle Glade, Clewiston, Moore Haven, and Lake Placid. Now in its fourth year, this experience enables local children to share the magic of Christmas on the Santa Express as they visit Santa and drop off letters, which he will take back to the North Pole.

This annual event is in partnership with the United States Marine Corps and Toys for Tots. When the people of U.S. Sugar deliver thousands of toys to South Florida children across the local sugarcane and vegetable farming region, it will be the most wonderful time of the year for many of these families.

Families can come out and meet Kris Kringle and get an up-close look at the Santa Express. Local children can have photos taken with Santa and get special treats.
