OKEECHOBEE — We (Education Foundation of Okeechobee) are proud to spotlight the amazing work happening in the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office Public Safety Cadet Program. Funded through our partnerships with the Florida Department of Education and the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations, this program is key in nurturing resilience and skill-building in our community.

The cadets have been immersed in community enrichment activities, including initiatives like 'Shop with a Cop' and 'Wreaths Across America.' These experiences aren’t just about learning; they're about connecting with and positively impacting our community, providing invaluable insights into public safety careers.
