Have you ever thought about becoming a COP?

OKEECHOBEE -- Do you have some spare time and would like to volunteer on our COP (Citizen Observer Patrol)? For as little as two hours a month, you can be a member of one of the most trusted organizations.

The dedicated men and women rode enough volunteer hours to supplement three full-time deputies last year. They are a vital extension of the eyes and ears of the sheriff's office.

If you are interested in this program, please contact Corporal Jack Nash at 863-763-3117 Ext. 5018. Be sure to leave your name and number.
