In the Courts: Two sentenced after pleading no contest

The following felony cases have either been tried in a court of law or have been settled without trial and are considered closed.

• Dustin Bressler, who was charged with burglary of a dwelling, resisting an officer without violence and criminal mischief in September of 2020 entered a no contest plea on Jan. 28 and was sentenced to one year of probation by Judge Michael McNicholas. Bressler was arrested after breaking into someone’s home and refusing to leave.
• Shaquan Fedee, who was charged with grand theft of a firearm in April of 2020, entered a plea of no contest and was sentenced by Judge Michael McNicholas to 18 months probation. Adjudication was withheld. Fedee was arrested after an anonymous call in reference to a man with a gun chasing a woman near Northwest 36th Street.
