Inaugural LEAP class visits HQ

Do you remember our L.E.A.P. initiative (Law Enforcement Apprenticeship Program) for recent Okeechobee High School graduates and interested persons for corrections certification? Here they are, our first official corrections academy participants. Today the class came through and visited our H.Q. and saw where they could potentially work in a few months. Pictured with them are Detention Training Coordinator Dory Sanchez and Chief Deputy Major Michael Hazellief.
