OKEECHOBEE — Special Olympic Athlete Carol Marker became a National Champion last year at the Special Olympics North American tournament in South Carolina. She will be returning to South Carolina in October to defend her championship. The tournament is put on by Special Olympics South Carolina and has athletes from all over the country and includes Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Bermuda. Carol proudly represents Florida.
