OCSO holds swearing in ceremony

OKEECHOBEE — On Wednesday, Feb. 7, The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office held its annual swearing-in and pinning ceremony, along with announcing promotions, citation awards, and employee of the year awards.We are proud to share with you the courageous, acts, growth, and resilience that our people show every day.

Today, we proudly share with you the swearing-in of new road patrol deputies and detention deputies. After being sworn in, each deputy was pinned by the person they chose to do the honors that day.
 
Road patrol deputies Sworn in are: Rocio Mendez, Alejandra Rodriguez-Russelburg, Anthony Paredes-Medina, Briana Gutty, Noah Jones, Jennie Busbin, Jennifer Fairtrace, Ricardo Hernandez, Elizabeth Ayala-Borja, Mercedes Calcagno, Gage Greseth, Mark Wright, Joseph Coonfare, and Jaclyn Timmons.
 
Detention deputies Sworn in are: Kado Caron, Gabriel Bowen, Shaun Penrod, Augustus Pollock, Eugene Ochoa, and Chase Sikorski
