Okeechobee arrest Report


The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Andrew Burney Jr., 30, Northwest 354th Court, was arrested March 13 by OCSO and charged with DUI. He reportedly refused the breath test. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Aniya Gore, 20, Tampa, was arrested March 12 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Her breath test results were reported as 0.082 and 0.080. Bond was set at $500.

• Edgar Rovirosa, 41, Southeast 43rd Street, was arrested by OCSO and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid and sale of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $35,000.

• Rafael Brito, 49, Southeast 39th Avenue, was arrested March 15 by OCSO and charged with DUI. His breath test results were reportedly 0.350 and 0.342. Bond was set at $500.
