Okeechobee Arrest Report
The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Jovanie Bustos, 22, Southwest 10th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 30 by OCSO and charged with DUI and driving without a license. Bond was set at $1,500.

• Shayne Sage, 43, Fort Pierce, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary, petit theft and trespass. Bond was set at $1,500.

• Jamie White, 34, State Road 70 West, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCPD and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $3,500.

• Martin Garcia, 36, Northwest 39th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 1 by OCSO and charged with DUI with property damage. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Alphonso Morris Jr., 27, Northeast 15th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 3 by OCSO and charged with tampering in a felony proceeding and fleeing law enforcement. He is being held without bond.

• John Paul Pugh, 46, Southeast 50th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 4 by OCSO and charged with failing to register. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Alex Armstrong, 20, Southwest 20th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 5 by OCSO and charged with possession of cannabis over 20 grams. Bond was set at $3,500.

• Cory Chandler, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Jan. 5 by OCSO and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a child. Bond was set at $20,000.

• Rachel Hennon, 30, Northeast 48th Avenue, was arested Jan. 5 by OCSO and charged with sale of and possession with intent to sell methamphetamines. Bond was set at $20,000.

• Don Johnson, 46, Northwest 20th Lane, was arrested Jan. 5 by OCSO and charged with battery inmate on inmate. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Robert Simmons, 47, Northwest 46th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 5 by OCSO and charged with habitual driving without a license. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Ronald Helt, 54, Port St. Lucie, was arrested Jan. 6 by OCSO and charged with DUI/fourth or subsequent offense. Bond was set at $750.• Stephen Wise, 65, Lake Placid, was arrested Jan. 6 by OCSO and charged with possession of morphine and possession with intent to sell morphine. Bond was set at $60,000.
