The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Joel McArthur, 17, Northwest 302^nd Street, was arrested Jan. 15 by OCSO Deputy Richard Varnadore and charged with grand theft auto. He was turned over to the DJJ.
• Yinet Jimenez Rodriguez, 34, Port St. Lucie, was arrested Jan. 15 by OCSO Deputy Albaro Arana and charged with unarmed burglary and petit theft. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Joseph Acquaotta,56, Northeast 13^th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 19 by OCSO Deputy Jackie Timmons and charged with battery/detainee on detainee and criminal mischief. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Jose Medrano was arrested Jan. 19 by OCSO Deputy Robert Murtagh and charged with DUI.
• Israel Pacheco, 16, was arrested Jan. 21 by OCSO Deputy Robert Gonzalez and charged with burglary with criminal mischief causing approximately $35,000 in damage. He was transferred to DJJ after his arrest.
• Darrell Cowles, 50, Brinkerhoff Lane, was arrested Jan. 21 by OCSO Deputy A. Hull and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $7,500.
• Carlos Manzano Jr., 41, Southwest 20^th Street, was arrested Jan. 24 by OCSO Deputy Joel Lacerte and charged with possession of fentanyl, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and introduction of contraband into a detention facility. Bond was set at $31,000.
• Alfonso Mejia was arrested Jan. 28 by OCSO Deputy Mendez and charged with contempt of court. He is being held without bond.
• Cody Maupin was arrested Jan. 28 by OCSO Deputy Skylar Casian and charged with aggravated assault. Bond to be set by the judge.
• Mikel Wood, 43, Northwest Fourth Street, was arrested Jan. 26 by OCSO Deputy Devon Satallante on an Okeechobee County warrant for contempt of court. He is being held without bond.
