Public input sought with Strategic Plan Survey

OKEECHOBEE – What are the most important problems in Okeechobee County?

County officials want your opinion. Take the 2024 Okeechobee County Strategic Plan Survey.

Take 5 minutes to help Okeechobee County plan the next five years.

Okeechobee County is creating its five year strategic plan and hopes to create a shared vision between community residents and their elected officials. One way that you can help is to complete a short survey that allows you to tell which issues are "extremely important" to "not important" for the next 5 years.

You can scan the QR Code to take the survey with a cell phone, use your computer to go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B76NJHS or stop by the Okeechobee County Public Library to fill out a survey on paper.

The survey asks: “What are the three most important issues facing Okeechobee County today?” It also asks participants to rank the importance of aspects of community services, public safety, economic development and growth.

The anonymous survey only takes a few minutes to complete. Participants have the option to add their names and contact information if they wish to be notified about the town hall meetings to discuss the county’s strategic plans.  Information about these public meetings will also be shared in the Lake Okeechobee News.
