Third suspect arrested in drug case

OKEECHOBEE — On Jan. 23, 2024, members of the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force arrested Wendall Octavius Bradley (44) after the conclusion of recent narcotics investigation for Trafficking in MDPV, trafficking in cocaine, sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a park, possession of cocaine within 1000 Feet of a park, sale of MDPV within 1000 feet of a park, possession of MDPV within to sell within 1000 Feet of a park, Possession of a controlled substance to with Hydromorphone, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, possession of Cocaine and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

When arrested, a narcotic-trained K9 alerted to Bradley’s vehicle, leading to 78.0 grams of loose and prepacked marijuana, 28.1 grams of loose packaged mixture of MDPV and cocaine, 1.6 grams of loose packaged Cocaine, 4.1 grams of MDPV, two Hydromorphone tablets and $141 of U.S. Currency. Bradley was also carrying $888 on his person.

In 2012, Bradley was convicted for drug-related offenses and was sentenced to seven years in the Florida Department of Corrections. He was released in October 2019.

Bradley was arrested in 2021 for selling narcotics and was sentenced to nine months in the Okeechobee County Jail in February 2023, and released August 25, 2023. 

Bradley was arrested without incident and will remain in custody until the bond hearing tomorrow, where his bond will be set according to the State Statute.
