Tyler Clanton selected to compete in youth soccer tournament in Madrid Spain

OKEECHOBEE — Tyler Clanton attended soccer camp in Stuart, Florida hosted by the Real Madrid Spanish Soccer Foundation the second week in July.  During the camp Tyler trained and competed with youth from Melbourne to Miami as well as youth from other countries. Tyler was selected among 10 top players at the camp, ranging in age from 8 to 13, to play in a world youth soccer tournament in Madrid, Spain March 21st through March 29th, 2024.  

He will be representing the United States on a U12 team competing against more than 500 youth on 40 teams from 15 countries.  Players in the U12 category were born in 2012 and 2013.  Tyler is in the 5th grade at South Elementary School and played for the Okeechobee United travel soccer team this past year.  This season he will be joining the J Petrov Soccer Academy, located in Palm City.
